We've long been proud supporters of Britsh talent at Record of the Day, and we're proudest when we can track an artist's success from the underground right to commercial crossover success. Back in 2003 we featured a track he contributed to (calling him a 'cooler and better looking' Craig David), and continued that support after his major deal ended and he scored three Top 30 hits as an independent artist. When Cash Money signed him, giving him a No.1 hit both here and in the US, it was a deserved pay off for the hard work, development and smart management throughout his career, which we'd been following since day one.
