This Love Of Mine

We say
With its ethereal textures, fuzzy guitars and soaring vocals, ‘This Love Of Mine’ is the latest release from Newcastle-based Pit Pony, taken from their second album, ‘Dead Stars’. Released last week, this reflective song is another glorious take from the LP that sees vocalist Jackie Purver exploring themes of motherhood, imposter syndrome and getting older, alongside commentary on society, economics and climate change. Previous tracks and singles from the album (released in February) have received support from Craig Charles, Huw Stephens, Emily Pilbeam and Indie Forever on BBC 6 Music, alongside BBC Introducing, John Kennedy at Radio X, and Double J. Currently on tour across the UK this month, the band will play Shacklewell Arms in London on 24 April. For fans of Nadine Shah, She Drew The Gun, Jane Weaver and Antony Szmierek.
