Craic

We say
This breezy, infectious indie-rock earworm comes from Ledher Blue, the Portuguese-born duo formed by Zé and Pedro from Guimarães, a town in northern Portugal. Initially writing about the trials and tribulations of growing up in a small town, the duo's perspective expanded when Zé moved to Dublin, adding a cross-country lens to their songwriting — different locations, but the same universal struggles. With their debut album, ‘Fait Divers’ set for release next week (8 April), Ledher Blue dropped this, their final single earlier this week. With a sound that blends MGMT synth-like indie with the shambolic energy of The Strokes and hints of Beatles and Oasis aesthetics, ‘Craic’ is a catchy, anthemic number that is primed for indie playlists at DSPs, as well as spins at 6 Music and Radio X. Ridiculously addictive, psychedelic-tinged indie.
