Days After Days

We say
Originally a one-woman lo-fi bedroom pop project by Elise Cook, Soot Sprite has evolved over the past few years into a fully-fledged, touring alt-indie shoegaze outfit. Now joined by Sean Mariner (bass/backing vocals) and Sam Cother (drums/backing vocals), the Exeter trio are set to release their debut album ‘Wield Your Hope Like A Weapon’ on 16 May. Released yesterday (25 March), their latest single, ‘Days After Days’, draws on 90s alt-indie influences with echoes of Sweet Pill to deliver an alt-indie ode about recognising the small victories and finding the good in an increasingly dark world. The single is primed for additions to new alt indie editorial playlists at DSPs, and spins on 6 Music and Radio X. This summer, Soot Sprite will hit the road for a UK tour in June, including a show at The Victoria in London.
