Fin.

We say
It’s been eight years since Irish duo Tebi Rex first burst onto the scene, carving out a distinctive space in Ireland’s alternative hip-hop landscape. Since then, they’ve released two thought-provoking, theme-driven albums and several EPs, drawing from a diverse range of musical influences. Their work has earned them acclaim from us, Clash, The Line of Best Fit, Dork, Radio 1, and Spotify, as well as strong support from Irish tastemakers. Beyond the praise, Tebi Rex have played shows and festivals across Ireland, UK, Europe and online for SXSW and Eurosonic, plus been featured on the Normal People soundtrack. This summer, they are set to release their third and final album, ‘Fin.’, a record where every track explores some form of ending. Released today (26 February), the title track sees the duo draw on feelings of nostalgia, of childhood parties and long-faded memories. Opening with soft percussion and an uplifting piano melody, it evolves into a vibrant, euphoric alt-dance anthem, layered with rich electronic textures and introspective bars. A fittingly glorious beginning to their final chapter.
