If you've been following RotD closely, you'll know we've been seriously impressed by the Dutch band Mood Bored. Their brand of indie-pop, soaked in nostalgic alternative sensibilities, has delivered some of our favourite guitar-driven tracks over the past three months. Last Friday, they dropped their ‘Too Much?’ EP, containing the RotD-featured tracks, ‘All The Time’ and ‘Wet Faced & Ugly’. Closing out the EP is the brilliant ‘Out Loud’ with its grungy aesthetic and blissful vocals. Featuring on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, the track is a stonking bookend to the EP. Praise for their music has come from The Line of Best Fit, Clash, and Far Out Magazine, among others, and deserves spins on 6 Music, Radio 1 specialists shows and Radio X. If you are interested in seeing what the trio are like live, then you are in luck as they will be in London on 10 March to play the Shacklewell Arms. Fantastic.
