WHOREBLE

We say
Last summer, we introduced you to Nashville-based 18-year-old Sadie Fine and her decidedly buoyant and big pop offering ‘Meat’. Since then, the UK-born artist with American and Palestinian heritage has released a string of singles and performed to a packed house at Jodie Bryant’s Discover Live event at The Grace in London. Last month, Sadie released this punk-pop-fuelled takedown of a serial liar. Produced by four-time Grammy nominee Johnny Black (Jessie J, Estelle) with vocal production by David “DQ” Quinones (Beyoncé, BTS) and mixed by Grammy nominee Mike “Pizza” Piazza (Olly Murs, Brandy), the track went on to feature on Spotify’s All New Pop and Apple Music’s New In Pop and Heartbreak playlists. With its infectious lyrics and angry pop aesthetics, ‘WHOREBLE’ blends the catchy and anthemic nature of Avril Lavigne with the empowering and lyrical wit of Meghan Trainor. Having previously been played on BBC Introducing, we reckon this pop blast would sound great on Radio 1’s Future Pop. Next month, Sadie will return to Europe to play in the UK and Germany and shows in Australia. Addictive and anthemic pop for the masses.
