Our final Ones To Watch 2025 is Caernarfon-born goth-rock-pop star CATTY. We’ve been big supporters of the London-based artist since she released her debut and RotD-featured single, ‘Bella Donna’, back in 2021. The last twelve months have been a whirlwind for CATTY that has seen her release a series of bold, brash and punchy witchy rock pop offerings, sell out her debut headline show at Oslo in London (after being upgraded from The Grace due to demand), sold-out her Lafayette show in November, and support Dylan and Beth McCarthy, as well as open for hero Stevie Nicks at BST Hyde Park. In October, she released her brilliant ‘Healing Out Of Spite’ EP, with this title track as one of its standout songs. Inspired by her cancelled Vegas wedding, her songs have received tastemaker praise from NME (Breakout artist), The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Popjustice, Dork, DIY Magazine, Official Charts, Notion, Cosmopolitan, BBC and more. At DSPs, she has had support from Spotify (including a cover artist feature for Fresh Finds: Pop and New Pop UK) and Apple Music, while at radio, she has caught the attention of Radio 1 (Future Pop) and 6 Music. We love her biting lyrics and revenge-fueled anthems, alongside her more reflective moments and believe there is a lot more to come from CATTY in 2025.
