All The Time

We say

‘All The Time’ is the brand new single from rising Dutch band Mood Bored. Having formed during the pandemic, the trio consisting of Myrte Driesenaar (vocals, bass), Daan Stuyven (guitar) and Timo de Wit (drums) quickly caught the attention of tastemakers like Clash and Fizzy Mag with their debut EP, ‘Bored’, last year. The debut included 'Lucky', which was featured in the Life Is Strange video game. They followed the EP with the track ‘Wake Up With You (WUWU)’ earlier this year, which saw them continue their blend of indie-rock with indie-pop sensibilities. Released last week, ‘All The Time’ is much more of a grunge pop anthem with brooding lyrics and dramatic flourishes. Early support has come from Apple Music (NMD NL) and Atwood, but we reckon this will sound great on 6 Music, Radio 1 specialist shows and Radio X, along with alternative and rock playlists at DSPs. On the live front, the trio have toured with Nations of Language and supported Wolf Alice, Sorry and Bdrmm, and will head out on a Dutch tour next March to celebrate the release of their second EP, 'Too Much?', in February.
