Once again, we are completely captivated by the gorgeous voice and haunting piano melodies of rising artist MYRY on this, her latest release. We last featured her at the start of 2020 with her ethereal and emotive debut track, ‘Ghosts’. Since then, she has taken time out from music during the pandemic to concentrate on her career as an NHS doctor before returning with the release of her debut EP, ‘Season A’, in 2023. Now back with her fourth single of 2024, the track explores themes of loss and emotional struggle. Released via Mahogany Songs and written, performed and produced by MYRY, ‘One Out Of Many’ is a soothing yet vulnerable offering with lush string accompaniments and hushed harmonies. The track has already been featured on Spotify’s Duvet Day editorial playlist, along with plays at BBC Introducing, but we reckon it deserves further support at DSPs and plays on Radio 1 and 2. Tonight (10 October), MYRY will perform a sold-out show with Alfie Indra at Bang & Olufsen in Mayfair. Watch the self-directed video here.
