Believer
We say
We’re pretty confident you’re aware of Sydnie Christmas after she captivated the judges and the nation on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. Her vocal powerhouse performances and interpretations of ‘Tomorrow’, ‘My Way’ and ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ blew the audience away and have since clocked up over 30m plays on YouTube and DSPs. Last Friday (4 October), Sydnie released her debut album, ‘My Way’, named after her spellbinding semi-final performance. From the stunning BGT song performances to the contemporary covers of The Script’s ‘Hall Of Fame’ and this brilliantly dramatic and Bond-esque performance of Imagine Dragons’s ‘Believer’, the album is an introduction to her story and beautifully showcases the range, fragility and power of her voice. To support the release, Syndie has appeared on This Morning and Lorraine, and will perform ‘Believer’ at the Royal Variety Show in December. Before this, Sydnie has been invited to perform at record producer and film composer David Foster’s 75th birthday celebrations at the Hollywood Bowl on 3 November, alongside Michael Buble, Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson. Early next year, she will head out on a ten-date headline solo tour of the UK.
