Driven by a heavy bass guitar groove and expanding into an anthemic sing-along hook, ‘One Minute’ is the infectious new single from Northampton’s Maddox Jones. The former Departure frontman sees the singer pull from his indie rock roots to create this nostalgic ’00s-tinged and radio-friendly single. Produced and co-written with UK songwriter Angus Parkin, the track is a reminder to live life in the moment. It’s perfect for uplifting and positive contextual pop playlists at DSPs, along with spins on Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6 Music. Accompanying the single, is a gorgeous video (over 320k plays) filmed on a Norfolk beach, directed by Alex Gwyn Davis and shot by cinematographer Triss Qian. Watch it here.
