‘I Can Feel Again’ is the gorgeous, heart-stirring, and empowering R&B jammer from Chinese artist Purple NiNi. Written in collaboration with Grammy-nominated songwriter Allan Rich, Incognito’s Natalie Duncan, and producer Katsuya Sezaki, the track is the culmination of years of study and performing to achieve her childhood ambition to pursue a music career while growing up in Jinan, China. At an early age, she learned the piano and took up singing before moving to Bern, Switzerland, with her family at 14, where her musical horizons expanded. Upon returning to China, she studied Popular Music at the Shandong Arts Institute, which led to further studies at the Musicians Institute in LA and BIMM London. Released today (24 September), ‘I Can Feel Again’ is a slinky and modern-day homage to ‘90s R&B greats, showcasing her powerful and sublime vocals. The song is perfect for new releases and R&B playlists at DSPs, as well as spins at specialist shows at Radio 1 and 1Xtra. Early support has come from online blogs and social media in Korea, the USA, the UK, and Spain. Aspiring to become a beacon to bridge Eastern and Western cultures, Purple NiNi has more music recorded with Katsuya Sezaki and Allan Rich to come over the coming months and is looking for a team to help her achieve her goal.
