We say

Following up on his anthemic ode to Scotland, 'Home' with fellow Scots Saint Phnx and the viral hit 'Heather In The Hill', singer-songwriter Nathan Evans dropped this folk banger last week. Yes, we said banger. Nathan has created a Scottish folk tune that has all the hallmarks of a dancefloor anthem whilst staying true to his folky roots. With a foot-stomping beat, hooky guitar melodies and traditional string flourishes, ‘Flowers In The Water’ is a highly energetic and rousing listen. Early support has come from Amazon Music and Deezer, but expect to see this addictive tune feature on further playlists at DSPs over the coming weeks. The track has also been added to the B-list at Hits Radio Network Scotland and entered the top 15 of UK iTunes chart. Having triggered a worldwide sea shanty hype in 2020 with his covers and the massive success of his version of ‘Wellerman’ (over 2bn streams) and No.1 in 11 countries, Nathan has continued to evolve his sound with original material that maintains that infectious nature the world fell in love with over the pandemic. In November, Nathan will release his new album 1994 but before this, there's plans a low-key pub tour of Scotland along with full UK dates.
