South London-based artist Saint Joshua has impressed us over the past several years with his blend of pop, R&B and singer-songwriter stylings. To date, his music has been streamed over 14.5m times, featured on editorial playlists on Spotify and received airplay from Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Mollie King), 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Apple Music and BBC London. Alongside this, he has been praised by tastemakers Notion, DIY, Complex, Wonderland, RollaCoaster and Clash. Released last week, ‘Sweet Talk’ is his vibrant and bouncy new single. Co-written with longtime collaborator and producer Pearse Macintyre, the track is just the soulful jammer you need to ease into those late summer nights. With early support from Earmilk and radio plays incoming shortly, Saint Joshua first music of 2024 is a bright beginning to the next stage of his career. Having played The Great Escape, Live at Leeds and Dot to Dot last year, he will be performing at a BBC Introducing show at the South Bank Centre on 19 September, as well as at London Fashion Week.
