We’ve already featured rising alt-pop artist Kai Bosch twice this year with the tracks, ‘Wishbone’ and ‘Funny’, from his EP, ‘Throw Me A Bone’. Today (9 August), sees him return with this hard and heavy slice of pulsing electro-pop, brimming with bright and infectious energy. It’s a stark departure from his recent collection (all about the demise of his previous relationship) and is an out-and-out banger about falling in love with his new boyfriend. Produced by Duncan Mills (Florence + The Machine, LCD Soundsystem, Miles Kane, Nell Mescal), the track is a euphoric number that featured on Spotify UK's NMF playlist and we expect to see feature across new pop playlists at DSPs soon. Having received spins at Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri and Jess Izatt) for previous releases, it won’t surprise us to hear this uplifting track pick up multiple plays. With plenty of online praise lined up for the single to go alongside tastemaker praise from the Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Dork, Far Out Mag, and Earmilk, to name just a few, for his back catalogue, everything is shaping up rather nicely for the second half of 2024 for Kai.
