Fade Away
We say
Released yesterday (7 August), ‘Fade Away’ is the cosmically hazy, psyche rock jammer from Brisbane/Meanjin five-piece Nice Biscuit. With its fuzz guitars and hypnotic grooves, the song wanes with intensity as the lush, duel vocals of Grace Cuell and Billie Star, tinged with ’90s nostalgia, chant in harmony as they explore the apathy that lies in the depths of burnout. Watch the brilliant video here. Taken from their forthcoming second album, ‘SOS’, the track would be perfect spins at 6 Music, Radio 1 specialist shows and Radio X, alongside additions to alternative/rock and spaced-out contextual playlists at DSPs. Previous tastemaker support has come from Spotify, Apple Music, Rolling Stone Australia, Dork, Louder Than War, and Beat magazine, to name just a few. Thunderous psyche rock for the fuzzed-out generation.
