We say

We first fell in love with the sounds of Lexi Berg back in 2019 when her wistful debut release, ‘What If’, caught our attention and featured on the soundtrack of the Oscar-nominated film, Pieces of a Woman. Discovered by Faris Badwan of the Horrors, who produced her debut, the Swedish-American singer-songwriter went on to release the RotD-featured tracks, ‘Take Off Your Disguise’ and ‘Where Will We Be’, before signing to Warner Music UK during the pandemic. She then released her Jimmy Hogarth (Sia, James Blunt, Duffy) produced EP, ‘Empire of One’. Her blend of '70s-inspired music seamlessly fuses classic Swedish pop melodies with soulful hints of Americana and folk have drawn tastemaker support from Radio 2, Spotify, Apple Music, Channel 4 Sunday Brunch, The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland and many more. Released last week, ‘Lonely Satellite’ is the gorgeous new release from the now independent artist. The track is a captivating listen, written with Mary and Willow Robinson of Outpost Drive and produced with Jim Elliot (Ellie Goulding, Black Honey). Full of warm melodies, nostalgic hooks and lush, raspy vocals, the track has been featured on Spotify UK & Sweden’s New Music Friday playlists, and Apple Music’s New In Pop. Deserving of spins on specialist shows at Radio 1, 2, 6 Music and Virgin Radio, ‘Lonely Satellite’ is a welcome return from the talented Lexi Berg.
