Greasy Boy
We say
If you need a dash of indie rock wonkiness to get your day going, look no further to this brilliant new release from Feet. With tinges of Britpop and hints of The Libertines and Pavement lurking in the shadows of this buoyant indie anthem, ‘Greasy Boy’ (released today - 11 June), is taken from their forthcoming second album, ‘Make It Up’, out on Friday. It’s one of those tunes that you can easily hear blasting out on indie club dancefloors, on indie/alternative playlists, and on specialist shows at Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio X and Virgin Radio. Following on from their 2019 debut album, ‘What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham’, the five-piece’s new album has been produced by Andy Savours (Black Country New Road, The Magic Gang, The Horrors) and shows a more mature, polished release, but still containing that chaotic and wonky nature. To support the album’s release, the band will head out on a seven-date in-store tour of the UK, including a Rough Trade East Show this Saturday (15 June). After this, they will be supporting the Psychedelic Porn Crumpets on their UK and European tour this summer.
