People Always Change
We say
We’ve been keeping tabs on the fast-rising harmony trio Tiny Habits since we heard their beautiful, folky single ‘Tiny Things’ last year. Last week, they released their debut album ‘All For Something’ via Mom + Pop, and as expected, it’s gorgeous. Radiating angelic harmonies, underpinned by a rich blend of 70s-esque folk and indie-pop melodies, the album, lyrically, delves into themes of relationship dynamics and individual identity. Written over two years while Judah Mayowa, Maya Rae and Cinya Khan attended Berklee College of Music and recorded at Soundcity in LA and produced by Tony Berg (Taylor Swift, Boygenius, Phoebe Bridgers) and Will Maclellan, the album is a delight with ‘People Always Change’ one of the many standouts. Tastemaker support for the trio has come from Clash, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, NME, NPR, Spotify (2024 Folk Artists To Watch), Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and many more. They are currently on a UK tour and play London’s Koko tonight (30 May), so if you are free, we highly recommend you pop down.
