‘End of Beginning’ by Djo, the musical project of actor, producer and songwriter Joe Keery (Stranger Things/Fargo), is having a breakout moment thanks to users on TikTok, with 2.17bn views across 1.43m creations. Released in 2022 and taken from his second album ‘Decide’, the hazy, synth-pop odyssey has amassed over 75m streams, up 213% week over week (24m in the past seven days alone), and reached no.12 on the Spotify Global Chart, as well as no.3 on the Global Viral Chart, no.1 on UK Viral 50, and no.3 on US Viral 50. On Shazam, the track sits in the Top 20 global chart and the UK’s Top 10. It’s been a phenomenal journey for the two year old track, which saw it added to BBC Radio 1 playlist and peak at no.11 in the UK Official Charts last week. Expect to see this enter the Top 10 this week, as there is still loads of momentum and love for this track, and with Joe heading to the UK to support the release, this is shaping up to be his first global hit.
