Little Life
We say
With its messages of simplicity and escape, ‘Little Life’ by emerging London-based artist Cordelia has had a phenomenal three months since its release in October. Written about the simplicity of her job at the Pavilion Cafe in London's Victoria Park during the pandemic lockdowns and her uninterrupted life outside of work, the song has connected with millions of people globally. With over 3.3bn views, 1m+ videos created and 2.2m shares on TikTok alone, and continuing to grow and rank in the platform’s charts, it’s safe to say this has been a breakout success and perfect introduction. Taken from her ‘Caramel’ EP, the track has amassed over 8m combined streams and started to pick up plays at Radio 1 after being heavily supported at BBC Introducing. Further radio support has come from stations in Belgium, Germany and Ireland. Time Magazine and Rolling Stone have already praised her. With her reassuring, ethereal vocals and warming guitar melodies, Cordelia has bewitched many, and there is plenty of promise as this gorgeous track illustrates. Just marvellous.
