San Francisco four-piece The Umbrellas produce irresistible indie pop hymns. Having met while frequenting the legendary record emporium Amoeba Music in the city, the four musicians released their self-titled debut album in 2021. Since then, they have been working on their follow up album, ‘Fairweather Friend’, and last year released the singles ‘Three Cheers’ and ‘Echoes’. ‘Gone’ is the final single to be released before the album drops on 26 January. With its nostalgic indie guitar notes, alongside warm harmonies and joyful percussion, ‘Gone’ offers a gorgeous piece of power-pop to add to your collection. Perfect for plays on 6 Music and Radio X, we also expect to see this pick up some traction on alternative playlists at DSPs. In March, the band are travelling to Europe for a 12-date tour, including a show at Oslo in London on 13 March.
