Let us introduce you to singer-songwriter Serena Ittoo and her heartfelt debut single ‘Nature Foreseen’. Born and raised in Enfield, Serena has been working on honing her songwriting over the past couple of years, which has seen her collaborate with Grammy winner Gary Nicholson and Beth Neilson Chapman in Texas. More recently, she has collaborated with producer/engineer Aamir Yaqub (Sia, Rihanna) on this emotive number. Released on Friday, ‘Nature Foreseen’ sees Serena’s rich lyricism explore feelings of inadequacy in relationships. With its beautifully driven ethereal soundscapes, cinematic instrumentation and Serena’s fervent vocals, the song is the first of five singles planned for release over the next six months. She already has features confirmed at online tastemakers, including Earmilk and Atwood Magazine, and on 10 November will be dropping her Marcus Maschwitz (John Legend) directed music video. Deserving of new release programming across DSPs and additions to Soul Pop contextual playlists, the track would also be worthy of a play or two across specialist shows at Radio 2 and regional radio.
