We say
Bristol-based indie outfit Make Friends is a band who are picking up their fair share of attention in all the right places. With the release of their high-praised EP ‘Is This Real’ in 2021, the band caught the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Show, DSP support at Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon, along with tastemaker praise from Clash, Wonderland, The Independent, and more. Now they are back with a gorgeous indie pop affair, full of hazy, dreamlike hooks and soothing tones. Produced by Bombay Bicycle Club’s Ed Nash, the track has already seen early radio traction with spins by BBC Introducing, Radio 1 and 6 Music. Watch the video here. With a sound that takes inspiration from Glass Animals, Foals, Everything Everything and Sundara Karma, Make Friends produce top quality indie that sounds timeless, addictive and memorable. Catch them next month performing at The Grace on 19 October.
