Continuing our look at artists you need to catch at the Great Escape festival this week is the Australian band Germein. Formed by three siblings, Georgia (guitar, keys) Ella (bass, cello), and Clara Germein (drums), the group produce dreamy alt-country pop with echoes of Haim and Fleetwood Mac. Suitcase is their latest single, which they wrote, produced and recorded at their home studio in the Adelaide Hills. With its earthy tones deepened with edgy guitars, percussive drums, and soaring vocals, the track is topped off with their lush sibling harmonies. It's a gorgeous tune and showcases the talent the trio have. Having made their debut USA performances at SXSW in Texas earlier this year, Germein will play five shows across the Great Escape festival and Alt Escape this week, which means you’ll get plenty of chances to catch them perform (listings & times below).   
11 May: 12pm Planetary & Impressive PR Showcase, North Laine / 2:10pm Sounds Australia Showcase, Komedia
12 May: 7:30pm Official Showcase, One Church
13 May: 12:10pm Sounds Australia Showcase, MVT Stage / 13 May: 7:30pm The Mesmerist
After this, the trio will be staying in the UK to play several shows across London and summer festivals, including the Isle of Wight.
