Thoughts/Dreams/Regrets
We say
With its stirring guitar motif, moody production and uplifting synths, Thoughts/Dreams/Regrets from Scottish indie-rock band Neon Waltz heralds a new era for the group. Having previously released their debut album, Strange Hymns, as a six-piece, the Caithness-based band is now a four-piece, and the making of this song marked the realisation that, as a four-piece, they could continue to produce the music they wanted. Taken from their forthcoming second album, Honey Now, this stirring and anthemic song is perfect for indie/alternative and driving editorial playlists. At radio, we could see this finding fans at Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music and Radio X too. Watch the accompanying video that draws on the traditions and history of the band’s home county of Caithness here. Previous tastemaker support has come from the Guardian, Clash, Record Collector, Tenement TV and 6 Music, to name just a few. An insanely addictive, emotive and confident return deserving of success.
