Party
We say
Released today (17 March), Party is the latest release from Scottish country pop duo Jubilee. Comprised of vocalist Justine Wilson and singer, guitarist and pianist Billy Warren, the duo have already made an impact on the UK country scene, with their 2021 debut album, You and I, and the single Don’t Make Me Look Into Your Eyes, which entered the Official Charts Top 40 and topped the iTunes Country Chart. It all started during lockdown when their Facebook Live shows from their living room grew in popularity and saw their videos rack up over 100k views. Since then, the duo have caught the attention of Dolly Parton’s musical director Kent Wells, who has been championing their heavenly harmonies and bittersweet ballads. With its singalong hooks, foot stomping beat and rich production, Party is an anthemic county gem, deserving of support on Country radio stations, spins on Bob Harris’s Radio 2 The Country Show and additions to country pop editorial playlists at DSPs. Watch the video here. Currently working on songs for their new album with producer Billy Farrell (The Corrs), this new offering is the first of many in 2023 and shows the duo are ready to continue to impress and wow country music fans. Having headlined Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the duo are looking for a live agent and will be heading to Nashville in May for a series of showcase events.
