if i fall for you is the melancholic, dark pop ballad from Slovakian rising alt-pop newcomer Karin Ann. Discovered by producers Tomi Popovic and Matt Schwartz (Yungblud, Massive Attack, Halsey), Karin has been carving out her name as a Gen-Z icon in Europe through her music. As an outspoken advocate of the LGBTQ+ community and minority rights, her lyrics delve deep into topics of gender equality, mental health and human rights. Her previous releases have seen her praised by Notion, Hunger, Wonderland, Kerrang!, Vogue, MTV, ELLE, Vanity Fair and Forbes, to name just a few. Jack Saunders is a big fan, with multiple premieres of songs on his Radio 1 show. At DSPs, Karin has been featured on numerous editorial playlists and was the face of Spotify’s 2021 Equal campaign, which saw her featured on a billboard in New York’s Times Square. Co-written with Grammy Award winner Martin Terefe and set to a sparse bass and stripped back drums, if i fall for you is a beautifully emotive track.
