Electric
We say
Championed by Colors, Clash, Complex, Trench, Wonderland, Notion, 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, highly-accomplished writer, producer and jazz musician Kieron McIntosh, aka House of EL, delivers this gorgeous blend of jazz and soul. Taken from his When It Rains It Pours EP (out today), Electric showcases his irresistible falsetto backed by a melodic groove, layered percussion and some woozy production. The EP follows his 2022 mixtape, Book Of EL, an 11-track fusion of jazz, soul, hip-hop and pop that saw him enlist the support of Laura Mvula, Jay Prince, Reuben James, Tom Ford and Karma Kid. The track Something Special from the mixtape has been picked up for sync in NBC’s The Equaliser and Amazon Prime’s Harlem Season 2. Having worked with artist like Paloma Faith, Kano, Labrinth, Plan B and more, Kieron is now making his mark on the industry as a solo artist, and with tunes, as fine as this, it won’t be long till more people hear about this talented artist.
