LA-based pop artist Grace Gaustad delivers another dose of fantasy and realism in this their latest single. The delicate, ethereal and glowing art-pop track, backed by soft electronics, is taken from their upcoming multimedia concept album PILLBX: whts ur fantasy? (watch the album trailer here) The 21 year old, who has studied under vocal coach Don Lawrence (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera), first burst onto the scene in 2019 after releasing a series of covers on YouTube. Grace then followed this up with their debut EP Human before releasing their debut album BLKBX: wht r u hding? in 2021. Along the way, they have gained the attention of celebrity fans in Lady Gaga, Mick Jagger and Carson Daly, as well as tastemaker support from Billboard, Nylon, Consequence of Sound, Clash, Notion, Noctis, Independent, Official Charts, 1883, The Today Show and Entertainment Weekly. Released today (17 February), The Cloud is a mature and considered track that's perfect for new pop and art pop based playlists at DSPs. Having recently been interviewed by the Line of Best Fit and included in Hunger Magazine’s feature celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month, Grace’s latest track offers another reason why they are an artist to watch this year.
