Downtown Kayoto is the project of Zimbabwe-born, Hull UK-raised musician Chiko Chinyadza. He’s been building a reputation for his genre-blending and unpredictable sound, having gained some serious Radio 1 plaudits, including being named a Future Artist and a Radio 1 Introducing ‘Track of the Week’. Alongside this, his music has seen support from Apple Music/Beats 1 (Pharrell Williams, Zane Lowe) and press praise from Pigeons & Planes, Lyrical Lemonade, Clash and GUAP Mag, among others.
