Imposter Syndrome
We say
Stoke-on-Trent-born artist Darla Jade has been making waves on the scene over the last couple of years with her blend of pop and electronic. A string of single releases and a debut EP has seen her catch the attention of tastemakers at Spotify, Radio 1 (Sian Eleri, Gemma Bradley, Matt & Mollie, Greg James, Arielle Free & Pete Tong), Radio 2 (Rylan), BBC Introducing, Clash, The Line of Best Fit, Billboard, Notion and more. Last Friday (14 October), Darla released her new EP, Only The Paranoid Survive, which featured this previously unreleased electro-pop-bop gem. Written with RotD-featured artist RØRY, whom she supported in August, and James Lewis, Imposter Syndrome’s upbeat and infectious vibe made an immediate impact at Spotify UK with an addition to NMF, and we are sure this won’t be the only playlist it will be featured on. Next Wednesday (26 October), she will be performing at the Strongroom Bar in London before playing at Notting Hill Arts Club on 3 November.
