Lost
We say
Let us introduce you to Bryn Wright, a 17 year old pop singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in south Shropshire, Bryn was inspired by the surrounding area of natural beauty and learnt to play several instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, cornet and mandolin, from a young age. At the age of twelve, he was invited to work with the Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra after writing a song called Closing In. Since then, he has been writing and recording his own material, studying harmonic and rhythmic theory and learning to play the cello, violin and clarinet. Drawing inspiration from artists like Jacob Collier, Pomme, Goldfrapp, Elton John and Pink Floyd, Bryn creates cinematic pop orchestrations that sound like film scores, full of tension and drama. Released today (5 August), Lost is his expansive debut release, and it’s big, very big indeed in ambition and grandeur. Perfect for atmospheric and cinematic playlists, and of course, for syncing purposes too. Later this year, he plans to drop his four-track Voyager EP, making Bryn an artist to keep tabs on.
