Time Comes in Roses (Igor Haefeli Remix)
We say
Performing at The Alcove at Latitude Festival tomorrow (23 July) is RotD favourite, Bess Atwell. Last year, the Brighton-based artist released her album Already, Always, which contained some of the best dreamy folk-tinged indie offerings we’ve heard in years. The album drew plaudits from the Independent, Metro, BBC 6Music and many more, and now she is set to release a seven-track remix EP, dubbed Already, Rearranged. The first track to be released is this reworking of Time Comes In Roses by Daughter’s lead guitarist Igor Haefeli. It’s a rich and atmospheric transformation, filled with bright and textured electronic eccentricities throughout. Latitude is not the only festival Bess will be performing at during the summer - Cambridge Folk Fest, Deershed, Womad, Green Man, All Points East and Moseley Folk are on her schedule. So if you are at any one of them, we recommend you catch her live.
