We Are It
We say
Back in the late ’90s, Embrace were one of the biggest UK acts to emerge from the post-Britpop scene, racking up three No.1 albums, seven Top 10 albums, sold out arena shows (including a 6,000 capacity sold-out show in their hometown of Halifax) and shifting over 2.5million albums. Now set to release their eighth album, How To Be A Person Like Other People, on 26 August via their label Mo’Betta, they return with this rousing and anthemic wedge of classic Embrace. We reckon it’s one of their most confident and assured releases so far. Premiered by Jo Whiley last night on her Radio 2 show, We Are It is sure to please their old fans and attract new listeners. Watch the video here. Danny McNamara’s vocals are as welcoming as ever and expect to see audiences on their UK tour, starting at the end of August, open their arms and sing those lyrics right back at them. Welcome back, Embrace.
