Harmless Fun
We say
We’ve been a fan of “awkward pop” pioneer Belot since we featured her seductive and undeniably cool track Bed last April. Since then, the 22 year old has been wooing tastemakers alike with a string of releases, culminating in the release of her new EP, Harmless Fun. Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Clara Amfo and Sian Eleri are all fans, which has seen her receive 25 plays across the station, along with support at BBC Introducing. At DSPs, she has landed spots on editorial playlists at Spotify (Indie-pop, Chilled Vibes and All New Indie), Apple Music (All New Rock), Amazon Music (Proud) and Tidal (Future Sounds). Online sites like the Line of Best Fit, Dummy, Clash and Earmilk have all praised her blend of indie, pop and electronic. We’ve chosen this glittering dose of alt-pop but to be honest, any of the tracks from her new EP are brilliant, so if you haven’t listened to her yet, then give the EP a spin. You will not be disappointed.
