Good Life
We say
Bringing a sun-kissed and positive disco vibe on their latest single Good Life, are Essex band Rayowa. Formed by three brothers from a council estate in Basildon, the lads, who are all self-taught producers and multi-instrumentalists, have been fine tuning and honing their sound over the last two years. Having released their first EP, Keepin’ Me Under, during the pandemic and amassing over 2.5m streams, along with support from Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1, the trio are back with this funk-filled gem. With echoes of Nile Rodgers and a splash of Jungle and Scissor Sisters, Good Life is full of funky grooves and smooth synth sounds. Premiered by Wonderland last, the track has picked up further support from Notion, 1883, Nocits and House of Solo. Watch the video here. At the weekend, the band performed at the Cambridge Club festival and are set for more festival appearances over the summer months.
