Two Sparks
We say
Continuing our look at artists you need to catch at the Great Escape festival this week is north London artist Natalie Shay. She first came to our attention last year when we featured the vibrant indie-pop single Medicine Boy. Since then, she has established an ever-growing presence and loyal fanbase through her live performances, anthemic tracks and collaborations with dance artists Grum, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Kryder. This melancholic piano-led alt-pop ode is her latest single to be taken from her forthcoming MILK EP, which is set to be released in June. Along the way, she has picked up tastemaker support from BBC Music Introducing, Rolling Stone, Clash, Earmilk, Billboard, Wonderland and the Line of Best Fit, among others. Plus, her music has featured on numerous Spotify playlists, including NMF, New Pop UK and Wholesome. Natalie has also picked up endorsements and partnerships with Reebok, Shure, Blackstar Amps, Sennheiser, PRS Guitars and Fila. You can catch Natalie playing live at the Scruff Of The Neck official Great Escape showcase at Brighthelm at 12.30pm this Saturday.
