Fusing industrial rock with elements of dark pop and Middle Eastern melodies is Tel Aviv-based newcomer Gali Givon in this impressive debut. Born to classic rock-loving parents and raised on a diet of Bowie, Queen and Pink Floyd, Gali picked up the guitar aged ten and began composing her own songs to cope with her father’s health issues. Now, signed to the newly established Universal Israel as one of their first artists, Gali showcases a sound that looks back to late ’90s rock but also forward with Eilish-like gothic pop overtones. Produced by Jon Levine (Dua Lipa, Drake, Tom Morello, Avril) and co-written with Solly (Shawn Mendes, Jason Derulo, Ava Max), Show Me Love has already impressed Apple Music with additions to numerous editorial playlists, including NMD US, New In Pop (International), Global Pop (International) and Breaking Pop (International).
