Run the Lights is the emotionally charged new single from London-based artist Holly Quin Ankrah, aka RAHH. Growing up in a mixed heritage musical family, the Manchester-born artist makes music that fuses her R&B, soulful roots with electronic elements and atmospheric pop. Having released her debut back in 2019, she has since amassed tastemaker support from Spotify, 6 Music, BBC Introducing, The Line of Best Fit, Complex and Clash, to name just a few, as well as found fans in MNEK and Joel Corry. Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, Run the Lights showcases another side to her music as she adopts a more adventurous and explorative sound in this hard-hitting electro R&B offering. Co-written with Dan McDougall and produced by Gloria Kaba (Beyonce, Solange, Frank Ocean, Kanye West), the song premiered on Atwood Magazine and is also part of a world-first augmented and virtual reality project from Wonder 14 and Move.ai. All in all, this is a bold and emotive gem, perfect for Radio 1, Radio 2, 1Xtra and those electronic R&B editorial playlists at DSPs.
