We’ve supported Dublin-based artist Aimée since she released her vibrant debut single Don’t Bother at the start of 2019. Consecutive singles saw Aimée consolidate her emerging presence in Ireland with Top40 Irish airplay hits, editorial support at Spotify and serious tastemaker praise. Having just completed her successful debut Irish tour this month, she is now back with this Swedish inspired dance-pop anthem, her first single of 2022. Essentially, it’s a fun-filled love song, delivered with electro throbs, pace and perkiness in the vein of Robyn with hints of Anne-Marie. Written and produced by Aimée, Richey McCourt and Nick Jarl, Nobody Else was completed in Stockholm when Aimée was on her first Nordic writing trip, which saw her get studio time with Swedish powerhouses Max Martin and Joakim Berg. Released today (25 February), the track featured on Spotify UK New Music Friday playlist, and we expect, will soon be added to dance-pop and uplifting contextual editorial playlists. The song has been confirmed as RTE 2FM’s ‘Track of the Week’ next week and undoubtedly will pick up more Irish tastemaker praise, along with the UK soon. Plus, she will also perform twice on national Irish TV over the next month. Aimee is set to perform Indiependence 2022, along with more Irish dates this year, and let’s hope for a London date soon. Quite simply, dance-pop at its finest.
