Last June, we introduced you to indie-folk vocals of singer-songwriter Alice SK on the chilled out Until We Meet Again by Muca. Since then, the London-based singer-songwriter has been putting the final touches on her debut EP, Electric, produced by Muca (Los Bitchos, L.A. Salami), and given us the singles, Another Girl’s Man, Hidden Paradise and now this gem. Along the way, she has picked online tastemaker support from the likes of When The Horn Blows, Get In Her Ears, She Makes Music, Songlines and more, while picking up spins on Absolute Radio (Frank Skinner Show), BBC Radio London, and Amazing Radio. Run Away is a beautiful and striking vintage noir track about being trapped in our minds. Warm percussion, delicate guitar motifs, and lush instrumentation offer a gloriously cool backdrop for Alice’s vocals to shine in this cinematic offering. Watch the video here. Destined for acoustic-driven and contextual mood playlists, as well as TV shows/advert syncs, Run Away is the perfect showcase for Alice’s talents, and we think it shouldn’t be too long before Alice SK is a name on everyone’s lips.
