Bradford-born singer-songwriter Asher Knight discovered his passion for music and singing at the age of 16 and was initially reluctant to pursue a career in the music industry after suffering from low self-esteem as a child. He then started work to improve his self-confidence through developing his craft and in 2016 moved to London to focus full time on music. Having worked on his stagecraft, songwriting and built a catalogue of music, Asher launched his career in 2019 and has since amassed over 2.2m streams for a string of releases. Co-written with writer and producer duo Red Triangle (KSI, Charlie Puth, James Arther, Camilla Cabello), Survive is his latest release. Backed by a lilting piano motif, the track sees Asher open up on feelings of uncertainty and fear of loss as the track builds with dramatic percussion and swooning strings. It’s a big pop ballad affair that is sure to make you swoon.
