Good Intentions
We say
Powerful, commanding and more introspective than her previous releases, Good Intentions marks a new chapter sonically for the singer-songwriter Sofia Lafuente. Having written with the likes of Naaz, Mason Maynard and The Fanatix, Sofia decided to embark on a solo career earlier this year. Her debut EP Control saw the Spanish America artist pick up a wealth of tastemaker praise from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland, and When The Horn Blows, among others. Plus, Spotify additions to Fresh Finds and numerous New Music Friday editorial playlists too. With its Scandi-like, alt-pop glacial cool blended with chilled dance sensibilities, Good Intentions sees Sofia produce a polished and soothing ode about exploring the joys of living and loving boldly that also sees her sing in her native Spanish for a verse. Online blogs, like Essentially Pop, have quickly picked up on the track and we expect more to follow soon, along with additions to chilled and positive playlists across the globe. An authentic and uplifting alt-pop gem.
