Too Good To Hide
We say
This startlingly beautiful and optimistic track is from London-based duo Dahlia Sleeps. Formed by producer/writer Luke Hester and singer/writer Lucy Hill, the group have been working on their debut album for the past two years, and are now set to release Overflow in two parts – the first of which is to be released next month (19 October). With an array of eclectic influences from the like of Autechre to Florence + The Machine and The National, Dahlia Sleeps seamlessly blend genres to produce cinematic and moving numbers. Too Good To Hide is another stunning example, with hints of London Grammar the track blends smoky atmospherics and soaring guitars with rich live percussion and haunting strings. Tastemaker praise has come from the Line of Best Fit, Vanyaland and Dusty Organ, while previous support has come from DIY, Clash, Fader, and Pigeon & Planes. A majestic pop offering.
