Brimming with euphoric vibrations, Sunflower is the debut single from Irish alt-pop duo PRiiCE. It’s the first taster of their forthcoming EP due out later this year and sees the pair blend electro-pop, indie and hip-hop. With its serene beats and funk-inspired synths, backed by a bouncy bassline, Sunflower exhibits all the right ingredients for a feelgood alternative summer hit. It is as if there has been a sonic merging of Easy Life with Everyone You Know, sprinkled with a touch of Disclosure. Released today (23 July) and featuring on Spotify UK's New Music Friday playlist, expect to see this infectious tune pick up further playlist additions and tastemaker support over the coming weeks. One to watch.
