kill all the heroes
We say
19 year old Cape Town-based artist Tyler Page burst onto the scene last year with her gorgeous debut single Don’t Believe the Aliens. The track quickly gained massive support across streaming services in South Africa with editorial playlist support at Spotify (RADAR, NMF, SAlt), Apple Music (New Music Daily, Future Hits, New in Pop & Wildflower), and Deezer (New South Africa). Following online support from numerous online blogs, including Going Solo and Conservations About Her, the track was selected to feature in Fortnite on its Underground car radio station. Released today and featuring on new release programming at Spotify, kill all the heroes is the sumptuous follow up. With echoes of Lana Del Rey and Lorde, the track is a mesmerising protest against the power-hungry 'elite'. Expect more online support over the coming days, and it wouldn’t surprise us if this is picked up on some key global editorial streaming playlists too. Marvellous.
