I’d Rather Die
We say
If you like your punk with a heavy dose of pop, full of energy and unfiltered lyrics, you’re in luck, as this infectious gem from Nashville-based trio TRAMP STAMPS firmly delivers on all fronts. After crossing paths on the Nashville music scene and a one-off writing session early last year, the members, all artists in their own right - singer Marisa Maino, guitarist Caroline Baker (aka carobae) and drummer Paige Blue – decided to form the band and quickly recorded an EP’s worth of material. Despite early industry interest, the band decided to stay independent and has since released two singles, Sex With Me and 1-800-miss-ur-guts, on their own label. Early tastemaker praise has come from Rock Sound, Punktastic and Upset, while Spotify has included their singles on numerous editorial playlists (NMF, SALT, Fresh Finds, Chill Pop). Now, back with this nostalgic slab of Blink-182 inspired punk from their self written and Baker and Blue produced debut EP, WE GOT DRUNK AND MADE AN EP, the trio are destined to find more new fans with this anthemic blast of fun.
