hurt so bad
We say
Raised in Cork and now based in London, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cian Ducrot has seen his music profile skyrocket over the last couple of months during the pandemic. His beautiful yet harrowing tracks, based on the stories of others, have become something of a comfort to those on social media and particularly on TikTok. His followers on the platform have jumped from 16k pre-Covid to now over 600k and it not just there where he is finding support. Wonderland, Clash and TMRW are fans too, while his latest release, this emotive and grief-filled track about a friend’s miscarriage, was added to twenty Spotify New Music Friday playlists last week. Recently signed to Darkroom/Interscope Records, this talented young artist will be dropping his started in college mixtape tomorrow (10 July) – a collection of relatable and accessible songs documenting his life from college to now, a 22 year old in living in London. One to watch.
